For anyone who spent their formative years wandering around Deep Ellum, listening to the sounds emitting from every open door, this was a can’t miss evening.
This is the type of music that you feel deep inside. Music that moves you and makes you respond from your soul.
The crowd responded to every breakdown, chorus, or other moment of intensity with fervor.
“Primordial Arcana” is forged on a foundation of ethereal soundscapes and atmospheric melodies.
“I’m re-living my high school years,” was a common refrain overhead by those in attendance at the Summerland Tour at Billy Bob’s.
“We’re stoked to be coming back to Billy Bob’s, are you kidding me? That whole Fort Worth area, it’s really cool, the stock yards and everything.”
“It’s true that many bands just use visuals to enhance the shocking value of their music, but in many cases, bands and artists use the imagery to challenge the viewer with interesting ideas that could have social, political, ecological connotations, etc.”
“Eigenheid” is a breath of fresh air for the pagan metal community.
“It’s my sophomore effort for solo records, which I guess means I should be in a sophomore slump.”
If you’ve come to love the band for being unpredictable, this album only continues down that enigmatic path.
